Arti Jain is a writer/director for film and television. She has directed award winning documentary films, promotional and informational videos. In the past she has been a Television Producer with New Delhi Television( NDTV) and west-coast (U.S) Producer for Voice of America (VOA). Arti also worked with Independent Television Service (ITVS) on the Emmy award winning television series Independent Lens. Apart from making films, Arti enjoys teaching media and film. She lived and worked in San Francisco as an Independent filmmaker before returning to home-base, New Delhi.
Arti holds a B.A in English from Delhi University, an M.A in Mass Communication from M.C.R.C, Jamia Millia Islamia and an M.F.A in Cinema from San Francisco State University.
